This is the first stage report which covers knowledge investigation, development of the tools, object-oriented approach to software coding, current status and development projection.

Research and development of this subproject has been consulted with company Angred which is one of the partners of IDEOGRAM project. Their experiences and suggestions has been considered and included in the software.

This stage report describes version 0.1.5 of the program which is based on the Object Windows Library (OWL). Windows and OWL has been selected at the first meeting of the partners to achieve standard user interface and ease of integration.
